Tomasz Sekular
is a Helsinki-based visual artist and curator. He works with installation art, photography and moving image. In his installations,  the ready-made , cinematic narration, a blurring of space, time and perception, order and disorder encounter each other in absurd constellations as well as in alternative and traditional forms of presentation. His works often present a liminal and ambiguous space privileging the corporeal and sensory, the unexpected and the haptic, with a dynamic and conflicting mode of narrative inviting the viewer to participate and make independent interpretive choices.

He is a graduate student in the Time and Space department at the University of the Arts Helsinki, Finland and co-founder of Kino club Helsinki. Kino Club is a collective and nonprofit community that offers a place to watch, discuss and review audiovisual works and performances from artists visiting or residing in Finland. The group has produced  exhibitions, events and film screenings in the capital and beyond
